Nestled in native bush, the Footwhistle Cave in Waitomo, New Zealand, is a boutique glowworm attraction providing a unique and up close experience. The highlight is exiting the cave at dusk to see the stairway entrance completely lit with glowworms. It is a long cave system with 7 entrances and known to local Maori as Te Anaroa Cave.
It was a real pleasure to be commissioned to shoot some time-lapse for the team at Caveworld near Waitomo, New Zealand. My work along with fellow time-lapse photographer Bevan Percival from Primal Earth Images feature in this promotional video vimeo.com/250678569.
Gear used: Nikon D810, Nikkor 14-24mm f2.8, Dynamic Perception Sapphire Pro, NMX controller, and the Timelapse View+.
