TOPO-MORPHOLOGICAL LIGHT INSTALLATION
1997, installation at 214 Lafayette Street, NYC
ca. 20' x 10' x 40', ca. 7 x 3 x 7m
The light installation, seen from the central vantage point is a perfect circle and perpendicular lines, but as soon as one changes the point of observation, the whole "perfect" image disintegrates, and one can see that the light strings follow the architecture. By the way, the word "topo-morphological" doesn't really exist, but it seemed appropriate in this case.
