# 03 –The Last Days Before The Rapture 02/25/2018
2 Timothy 3:1-5
The term “last days” is all throughout the Bible. It’s used as early as Genesis 49 when Jacob prophesies of Israel in the last days. Moses talked of the last days in Deuteronomy 31 and so did almost all the O.T. prophets. of course, their focus was the nation of Israel and some of those give insight into the Tribulation, when Israel will be brought to the forefront of God’s plan again.
We tend to focus in what the N.T. says of the last days, as that pertains to us, for the last days lead up to the Rapture, when Christ comes to the clouds and calls Christians home to heaven and of course we’re interested in what will happen to those left behind.
The Lord spoke often of the last days, especially in Matthew 24, when He list signs of the last days, gives us the prophecy of the fig tree, compares it to the days of Noah, and even gives an outline of the end times. And throughout the epistles of Paul, Peter, John and Jude, God warns the believer of what they’ll be like.
There Will Be Perilous Times (2 Timothy 3:1-5)
Here the Holy Spirit tells us what mankind itself will be like in the last days.
There will be ethical problems (vs 2) Putting selfish interest above others, envying and demanding to have what others have, unwilling to admit wrong, cursing those who try to correct them, unthankful for anything, and no interest in godly things.
There will be moral problems (vs 3) Living together without being married, homosexuality, fornication,
