Short Story: Took the Jetta to the dyno the other day, at Dynotech in Seekonk, MA. Did three pulls, spun the tires on 2, blew off map sensor on third, car started misfiring a bit, called it a day.
Longer story: After blowing off the MAP sensor on the cold side intercooler pipe(JB weld @ 26 psi - complete fail. Totally forgot it was JB welded from way back in stock turbo days), Dynotech welded it back on. After getting the MAP sensor back on the car, I vag-com'd it and noticed that cylinders 3 and 4 were misfiring, even though the idle seemed alright. Seemed that perhaps those plugs were fouled when the sensor blew off. Decided to call it a day for fear of its condition getting worse, didn't want it to blow up just to get a number. Drove the car the home and it seemed fine. Still have to check the plugs and see how they held up.
