UPDATED VIDEO 12/19/08 - I originally completed this video in mid-November using this mp3 track but it was incorrectly labeled "Dolphin Therapy." Like most, if not all, of my favorite songs I heard it first on SeeQ Radio at Quantum Quest . org. I caught only part of the song, couldn't find it on the albums I had or Itunes and wanted to hear more so I called DJ Deb.
When I started listening to preparation to create the video I loved the song more and more but for the life of me I couldn't figure out where the Dolphins were. What I 'saw' was a message about the path of transcendence and discovery on a personal, human level or, perhaps, falling in love and connecting with the mysteries of existence - but No fish, not even a flash of fins.
I have known and loved Greg's voice for many years. He's a songwriter and performer whose lyrics, music and message are delivered by one of the most soothing, gentle voices I've ever heard. Up until this song I clearly understood what he was sharing.
I created the video and agonized over maintaining the integrity of the artist's intentions so I threw in some pictures that sort of fit but had some dolphins visible to maintain what I thought was his intention. He gently and lovingly corrected my error, sent me the real track for "Dolphin Therapy" - which is clearly about the aforementioned, well loved creatures and told me the actual track I was using was "I Know Who I Am."
I promised to take the video down and revise it - perform a dolphin-ectomy and restore it to my original vision as soon as I had the time and today was the day.
This is the revised video created the way I orginally pictured it. To atone for all the angst and confusion - and because it's always a pleasure to work with a professional musician of Greg's caliber, I've put the real "Dolphin Therapy" on my to do list - it's the least I can do and, after all, I now have an abundance of dolphin pictures just looking for a song.:-)
I invite you to explore all that Greg has to offer. He is versatile and fun and his body of work thus far is impressive. The contact information for Greg appears in the credits.
Learning and loving it all,
Lynda
