Port Augustian Darryl Carn shares some secrets on the art of catching and cooking blue swimmer crabs.
Coast Guard volunteer Darryl Carn reckons you don't 'catch fish' you 'go fishing'. He says to truly 'go fishing' means that you understand that the fishing process is meant to be relaxing, contemplative and sometimes profound.
If you actually catch some fish while you are 'going fishing' then this is an added benefit.
Darryl also applies this Zen - like state of mind to the catching of Portunus Pelagicus which is also known as the flower crab or the Blue Swimmer crab.
As an observer this appears to really work for him as he sure knows how to catch a lot of crabs.
In this Whadyaknow segment Darryl takes us out on his boat and shares his considerable expertise in the art of catching and cooking blue swimmer crabs.
