Heilin was run over by a truck in Belize. Her parents took her to our Medical Mission clinic in her village.
Our Medical Mission Director, Amanda Whisnant, and our volunteer Medical Mission Team, examined and treated Heilin.
But she needed emergency surgery in the United States to save her arm and life.
So Amanda raised the money from donors like you and flew Heilin (and Heilin's mom) to Dallas, Texas for life-saving surgery.
Amanda is our Belize Medical Director for International Servants and leads our Medical Mission Team in Belize.
