Still making my way through "How to Make Animated Films" by Tony White (amazon.com/How-Make-Animated-Films-Masterclass/dp/0240810333/).
Chapter 3's lesson is on how to animate a basic, generic walk. I decided to try it using probably my all-time favorite character – the Pink Panther. I love the Pink Panther cartoons and how John W. Dunn was able to tell such great stories with zero dialogue. Amazing.
I had some problems with his feet and many problems with the movement of his tail.
Lesson learned: don't make characters with tails!
Filmed on 2s at 12 fps.
