Presenter: Tiedra Marshall, Family Support Coordinator at the Center for Schools and Communities
The quality of parent-child interactions is influenced by a parent’s knowledge of how their behaviors impact their child’s development. Parents who engage in rich communication and exhibit supportive, responsive, nurturing, guiding, behaviors with their children, positively impact their child’s development across all domains. Through this conversation, family support professionals will explore ways to promote positive parenting behaviors. Professionals will identify practical ways to transform their understanding of the development centered parenting approach and put it into practice.
