This series is designed to bring focus to what a BRM is and the core of who they are, what they do and the tools to help them be successful. The IAmBRM webinar series begins with two core models that underlie the Business Relationship Management role, discipline and capability:
• BRM DNA™ – a top-level graphic representation of the BRM Competency Model
• House of BRM™ – a graphical representation that builds on BRM DNA™ and conveys key aspects essential for BRM success
BRM DNA™ is a high-level model of the competency domains needed for effective Business Relationship Management. DNA stands for Develop, Nurture and Advance. The model comprises 5 concentric circles around a Strategic Partnering core.
Organizations use Competency Models in many ways – for example, in helping to describe the type of competencies they want in candidates they are considering hiring, or to assess the performance of employees and provide them a framework for future development.
The House of BRM™
The House of BRM™ is one of the most important concepts in the BRM Body of Knowledge and is introduced in the BRMP Foundation Training. It builds on the BRM DNA™ model and highlights the Core Business Relationship Management Disciplines and the need for BRM role clarity in terms of Strategy and Operating Model.
This webinar will review the BRM DNA™ model and its importance and implications for Business Relationship Managers. It will also explore how the House of BRM™ model can be used to explain Business Relationship Management and the key conditions for success.
