Erna E Skúladóttir (ISL) is a visual artist, with a background in ceramics.Skúladóttir’s work examine relationships between the real and fantastical nature of change and transformation. She does so through observations, followed by manipulations of landscape, architecture and natural materials. Erna Skúladóttir is currently working on her project “Landscapes of Transformation: Illusion of Stability”, a site-specific project based in ceramics and geology where she investigates transformation and fluidity of raw materials. She has been a part of “Topographies of the Obsolete”, an international research project, and has an ongoing collaboration with artist Karin Blomgren.
