MWL FINANCIAL GROUP
SECTION – TRADIES
SUBJECT – EVIDENCE – TAX
Hi I'm Barbara Keating, Accountant and small business specialist at MWL Financial Group.
If an expense is subject to substantiation, it must be supported by particular forms of written evidence – if not, your claim is not deductible. In other cases, you need to provide sufficient evidence to satisfy us that you incurred the expense.
Generally, you need to keep your records for five years from the date you lodge your tax return. The ATO also request you provide enough information in a format that helps us to complete our review of your tax return.
For more information contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and either me Barbara Keating or one of our experts will be more than happy to help.
