We made oracy a big focus at our schools in the 2017-18 school year. By teaching our Rocketeers how to express themselves clearly and fluently, they are learning critical language and social skills that will help them succeed in school and life.
So we decided to create a little oracy competition between our schools here in San Jose. We asked our Rocketeers to write and present a speech that answers one simple question: “What are your dreams for the future?”
