Statement
The work depicts the relationships that form between household robotic devices and communication robots during the absence of the humans.
We have considered the Japanese communication robot that has evolved independently. In the previous work Rekion Voice, I showed which Rekion(motor and signal sounds) following people by slave robots which stripped design and exposed the mechanism.
At this work Rekion Home Voice, we are also trying to present the distopya and violence lurking in the communication with the smart speakers and have communication robot came in human's home.
Smart speaker says, "According to wikipedia" "According to the Internet" in the reply, It seems there is no opinion or subjective. Thanks to the anonymity of the Internet people have become able to expose their personal parts, stress, oppressed feelings, etc.
For that reason, only words will go somewhere, the source will be ambiguous, and the subject of that word will be lost like cloud in the air. It is a part common to the absence of subjectivity of smart speakers.Internet is semi-public place.
So, I had smart speakers say words from Twitter's kusoripu(Japanese shit reply) and Yahoo! Answers. The scape visible on the Internet is projected by anonymous actors named smart speaker.
In the smart speaker, all the data is exchanged on the internet.So the conversation of the old couples or the child don't knowing anything is recorded at home before you know. In other words, everything in the house will be connected online already. Even the speakers set up at the exhibition have been recorded by default.
Even after human goes to work or go to bed at all times in the house which is always online, there is a possibility that a conversation between communication robots each others is being carried out in the absence of a human being. Distorted conversation will be unfolded by misidentification of speech recognition
Sometimes it is said that there is human truth in search history on the internet. Like that or ego-searching your name with smartphones, unconscious physicality will also appear gradually in communication with communication robots.
At such times, the cruelty of communication will come to be visible, and communication with people may change as well.
I show those many conversation collections with various combination of robots in divided rooms like apartment room conversations, to show internet theater and dystopia of communication robot.
The smart speaker begins ordering the home electronics and lights, and this voice then triggers the Al robots to begin an incongruous conversation with each other. These robotic devices embody the loneliness found in a society that is becoming more and more centered around the nuclear family and individualism. The dog shaped robot puts a collar on the human shaped robot, the dog chases the human shaped robot, the Vacuuming Robot gets stuck inside the dog pen, and photos are being taken of this space occupied only by robots. What is seen is a strong depiction of the strained relationships between the robots in the absence of humanity.
