The winds and surf came up just too high so the entire fleet had to be towed from Benson Island To Forbes Island. That took about 5 hours of people moving to get almost 250 from one place to the other. From there we paddled to Toquaht by about 9 at night.
This short movie shows the School District 46 canoe being towed with Dave Woldrige helping steer. You can just make out the thwart rope tied tight under the canoe from the last stern thwart. I shot this only after the seas had calmed on our tow. Only 10 minutes earlier it had been far to rough to even stand and shoot the movie.
