BARCELONA - July 11, 2011 – The Art Directors Club of Europe (ADC*E) held their 20th Annual Best of European Design and Advertising Awards this past Friday in Barcelona, Spain and on Saturday night they announced the Gold and Grand Prix winners at a ceremony and party at DHUB (Design Hub).

ADC*E ( is the association of European Art Director's clubs. Its aim is to foster and reward creative excellence across all of European design and advertising, which is why every year they host the "Best of European Design and Advertising" ADC*E Awards.

ADC*E is the only awards scheme in Europe to bring award winning European work from all the national schemes into one competition.

For the 20th annual awards in 2011, new categories and subcategories have been added that reflect innovations in digital (mobile, apps, Internet), film, audio, environmental design and events.

During the two days following the opening conference, jurors chosen by 18 national clubs across Europe gathered to pour over more than 900 entries of winning work submitted by 25 European countries in order to find the best of the best of European design and advertising across all categories. The 2011 jury was led by Amir Kassaei, Chief Creative Officer of DDB Worldwide.
