Four stories of migration to the UK by Moroccan women.
A film directed and edited by Alan Stepney.
The Dardasha project documented the migratory experiences of the first generation of Moroccan women who came to Britain between 1960 and 1990 and settled in the Portobello area of London. Dardasha has for the first time enabled these brave women to tell their personal and moving stories in their own words.
The Dardasha project was funded by the Heritage Lottery and directed by author Samantha Herron (https://samanthaherron.wordpress.com/)
