Through the ritual of practising a collective journey: using rattle, drum, voice and flute, a call and response communication was instigated through activation of the audience's mobile devices upon entering our online network.
Upon travelling to the url: find-call’, Spirit Casual open access to each device’s speaker and microphone, moderated through a central hub of devices: a loose form of tech-mandala, on the stage floor.
Audience members with a device receive a visual form of a particular spirit animal, which has been chosen prior, through shamanic journey.
Swarm and flocking behaviours of the animal dictate a coded rule-set on how each is triggered into response to Audio stimuli; ie: 'The Call'.
The intention of 'The Call' is focused on using intention, action and breath to manifest spirit through an internet connection interwoven through collective and hive mind.
The sounds generated from the devices are: The Response.
Faciliated by:
Ioann Maria and Peter Kirn.
