This was shot during a video project, documenting some American poets visitng a poetry festival in Swansea, the footage is eventually to be used in a documentry to be released on DVD.
James is an actor, he had a part in one of the poetry performances at the festival and after our interview I wanted to make a sixty second portrait, inspired by portraits made by American photographer Chase Jarvis.
