Colorscan (2008) was an interactive light installation installed in one of the main entry gates to Skanderborg music festival in Denmark 2008. A camera was fixed in the gate and tracked vivid colors, such as a bright red rain-coat, in the entry area and the entire entry gate was then lit up in the selected color. A moving head projector followed the tracked target with a large crosshair so that the audience could follow the scan and start playing and interacting to control the lighting of the gate.
