John B. Henry and his wife Ann Crittenden host one or two spectacles a year at their farm “Stone Hill” in the rolling countryside of Rappahannock County Virginia. This spectacle featured the sacrifice of a virgin at dusk on Halloween. Border collies, sheep and bagpippers entertained guests amongst the stone works built by Mr. Henry before the dramatic play by Peggy Schadler unfolded inside a stone circle.
Note: This video was posted a few months ago but was accidentally erased. This is the same except several scenes have been processed in After Effects to smooth out shakiness.
Shot with Lumix GH1 and GH2 cameras with 14-140 lens. A 45mm f2.8 lens was used for some of the portraits
