This documentary film follows the path of a the visionary Kostabi between New York City and Rome. His imagination leads us through the real and unreal, to a Pop and visionary wonderland inhabited by international critics, prominent artists, musicians and directors such as Suzanne Vega and Michel Gondry who star in Kostabi's TV show, "The Kostabi Show" and to his mentor, jazz legend Ornette Coleman.
This film is not only the biography of a the prominent figure of the legendary East Village art scene, but reveals the fascinating inner story of a controversial artist.
