This runs quite nicely with over 10,000 particles, but for recording purposes I lowered the count to 7200 and it still came out a bit choppy.
I am using openframworks to access the data from the web cam which is then used to control a particle class. Pretty simple stuff but I am just beginning with openFrameworks and openGL.
