I have been fortunate to know Connie Chandler-Ward for 25 years, and her unexpected death on the day after Easter has been difficult to understand and accept. But we got spend time with her family and friends at the memorial events for Connie, it surely helps to know that Connie's affect on so many people will live forwards.
The morning after the service, I flew my drone around Tenants Harbor, Connie's home of for the last 28 years. This two minute movie is made with Connie in mind, a tribute to her love of nature, community and spirit. She introduced me to the poetry of Mary Oliver. The poem at the end of the video is a snippet from Mary's poem "In Blackwater Woods."
