"A Window Into Willard" is my Junior thesis film for SUNY Purchase. It is a short documentary about the lives of three deceased patients from the Willard Asylum: Margaret, Lawrence, and Dmytre. In addition, one living former patient, George, tells his story though an interview. The film documents their stories though medical records, narration, and doctor-patient conversations. Their stories combined span the entire 20th century, covering a wide array of treatments and medications that were used at Willard over the years.
