More than 20 councils in the central and lower North Island and top of the South Island are part of the GoShift programme, an exciting initiative to make it easier and faster to obtain and issue a building consent.

Ross is employed by Wellington City Council (WCC), but works for all of the councils involved in GoShift. He has worked in the public sector for close to 10 years starting at Rangitikei District Council as an inspector – processor and moving to Wellington City Council in 2011. Ross has held multiple roles at Wellington City Council from compliance Team Leader, Manager Consenting, Business Transition Manager in the IT space and finally into his current role as Strategic and Engagement Manager
