‘CENSORmeTHIS’ is a looped video where you see multiple layers of a woman taking the
shape of a bathtub with her body.
In the title I challenge social media to censor me (censor me this image) even knowing
that it is already partly self-censored.
Parts of her privates parts are cut-out, so you see a different body at the places you except to see nude imagery. Because of the many layers it is hard to make up which body you
are looking at and if you can or cannot see breasts and genitalia.
We tend to keep watching until we find recognition of a naked female body.
The model was already partly censored before the post-production to lure the viewer to search for what he or she is looking for. Sometimes a part of the body is shown to keep interest and you start to feel like a ‘voyeur ’.
This image didn’t get censored until I made an public event with this screenshot for an
exhibiton, so yes, the did CENSORmeTHIS.
