Water Sweet Water is a short film documenting the work of researchers from the University of Bath (UK) and Universidad de los Andes (Colombia).
Working together as part of the ‘Water Monitoring in Colombian Vulnerable Communities in a Post-Conflict Scenario’ project, financed by the Newton Fund Institutional Links, the research team spent time with the indigenous community of the Resguardo Santa Sofia, located at the southern tip of the Amazonas region of Colombia to test a water sensor they have developed for for detecting heavy metals and measuring physico-chemical parameters in water sources.
