Through a new collaboration between Baltimore City Public Schools’ Office of Gifted and Advanced Learning and the University of Maryland School of Medicine’s Service Learning Program, a mentoring project has partnered first-year medical students and third graders from Abbottston Elementary School to enhance their learning in science.
