The Trackside Tavern in Decatur, GA was destroyed by fire on Inauguration Day, 1/20/2009. Two and a half years later, on 7/23/2011, the rebuilt and refurbished Trackside had a soft opening, beginning with 90 minutes notice (on the FB page) at 1pm. Word spread rapidly among the regulars, and a good number of them were waiting on the patio when the ribbon was cut and the door opened. The celebration continued until 3am Sunday.
