8. PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS

8.1 Lathrop Towne Centre Vesting Tentative Parcel Map No. VTM-17-111, Site Plan Review No. SPR-17-112 and Conditional Use Permit No. CUP-17-113

Consider adoption of a resolution recommending the City Council approve the following: 1) Lathrop Towne Centre Vesting Tentative Parcel Map to subdivide 1 parcel into 6 individual commercial parcels and 2) Site Plan Review and Conditional Use Permit for the Lathrop Towne Centre to construct a commercial shopping center with an estimated floor area of approximately 126,000 square feet of retail space, a 60,000 square foot hotel, and vehicle parking for 635 spaces.

ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: The environmental impacts of the Mossdale Landing East (MLE) Project were addressed in a certified Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (SEIR) (SCH 2002052083). The City has determined that the potential environmental effects of the proposed project falls within the scope analyzed in the SEIR; therefore, no further environmental review is required in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

9.1 General Plan Consistency for the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Capital Improvement Program

Consider adoption of a resolution finding consistency with the General Plan for the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).

ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: Exempt pursuant to California Environmental

Quality Act Article 5 §15061 (b) (3).
