Two exploratory studies conducted at a STEM university in Vietnam.
1. A pilot survey of students’ exposure to, definitions of, and attitudes toward, experiential learning.
2. Interviews of students and instructors at that university with the same research topics.
Both studies found wide use and acceptance of experiential learning methods.
The interviews found frustration among instructors with respect to implementing experiential learning pedagogies.
