Springback Graduate Stella Mastorosteriou meets choreographer Christos Papadopoulos to talk about his Aerowaves selected work 'Opus' and his creative process.
How do you look at music? Opus brings on stage a human ensemble, in which each performer becomes an instrument. An attempt to investigate our automatic response to hearing music, this quartet first teaches you how to look at it, and then draws you into its immaculate world that will remove you from the everyday.
Launched last year in Aarhus, 'Meet The Makers' interviews bring together Spring Forward choreographers with emerging dance writers to give you a chance to dive into their creative process. The series is a chance for the Springback Academy graduates to flex their interview skills in short one to one conversations.
Springback Academy offers a unique chance for emerging dance writers to be mentored by professional critics during Spring Forward dance festival. Springback Academy experiments with forms of dance writing and adds an assured quality of debate to dance criticism online.
