It is often easy to get caught up in our technical practices, forgetting why we do them. We are paid to provide value for our business partners and clients. Everything we do should be aiming to maximize that, especially in such a fast-paced environment as a small business or startup.
In this talk, we'll explore concrete (and sometimes less concrete) value that businesses can and should demand from a modern software development process. These should then be supported by the technical practices we choose during application development.
