ANNE KERR
Founder and CEO, TrueNorth Freedom Project
Our sexuality is one of the most common aspects of our being, yet one of the hardest to discuss. It’s sacred, purposeful, and powerful, but most Christians don’t have a God-honoring understanding of it. Consequently, they aren’t equipped to teach it or help those who struggle with issues related to it. Learn how the team at TrueNorth is forming relationships with leaders of Atlanta area ministries, sharing resources and hope, teaching godly sexuality, sharing testimonies of those now living porn-free, and hosting community events. This breakout will equip and inspire you to foster transformation in your personal walk with Jesus, in your family, and in your faith community. You can help the Church become a safe place for healing for sexual brokenness and eventually reduce porn use and impact demand for sex trafficking.
Anne Kerr founded TrueNorth Freedom Project in response to the problems of sex trafficking, pornography use, and sexual abuse. TrueNorth promotes sexual honesty and integrity that leads to authentic relationships and spiritual growth. As a follower of Jesus, Anne’s faith guides her work to end sex trafficking and lead many to sexual healing and wholeness. She inspires others to live with integrity in a sexualized culture through TrueNorth’s website, blog, and community events. Anne speaks to church and parent groups and is writing a book for Christian wives and moms. Prayer is a cornerstone of TrueNorth’s work as well as collaboration with partner organizations intent on helping the Christian church become a place for healing and hope for sexual wounds and sexual struggles. TrueNorth Freedom Project is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
