Debi Tengler’s life experiences as an “Overcomer” have helped enable her to bring hope and healing to a wounded and hurting people. Tengler holds a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies with an emphasis on Biblical Counseling. Tengler’s leadership has been fine-tuned through running multi-day events of more than 15,000, leading a division of a global ministry, and now serving as the Chief Relations Officer of Arrow Child & Family Ministries, a national organization and the largest provider of foster care in Texas. Arrow operates Freedom Place, Texas' first rehabilitative home for minor, domestic girls recovering from commercial sex trafficking. In Maryland, Arrow serves behaviorally complex children including trafficked teens. Tengler joined Arrow in 2014 where she oversees development, marketing, church and community relations. Tengler, a sought after speaker on various topics including awareness of sex trafficking, life skills for overcoming great adversity, and finding purpose in pain.
Director CST Services, Arrow Child & Family Ministries
Kellee Walker’s awareness and work with sex trafficked survivors have been the focus of much of her career both overseas and in the US. Walker continues as a licensed professional counselor to use her skills to help children who have experienced complex trauma heal and have better lifetime outcomes; Walker joined the Arrow team in 2009. At Arrow, Walker has served in a variety of roles including working directly with foster care children, serving as both the Clinical Director and Interim Executive Director of Freedom Place, Arrow’s residential treatment facility for victims of CST, and leading Arrow’s quality improvement efforts as the National Director of Continuous Quality Improvement. Today Walker serves as Arrow’s Director of CST Services where she has been a constant advocate and integral leader in helping define the national practice model to best serve and support healing for this population.
Restoration Foster Care Program Director, Arrow Child & Family Ministries
Kimberly Jones has worked in youth and community development organizations for over 20 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and Family Studies, and a master’s degree in Organizational Management and Leadership. Jones’ career has allowed her to serve various populations including homeless and immigrant families, lay Christian congregants, youth leaders, and community groups interested in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). For the last four years, Jones has worked for Arrow Child & Family Ministries as the Program Director for Freedom Place, a treatment facility for survivors of commercial sex trafficking, and as a foster care senior clinical supervisor. Most recently, Kimberly has been able to combine her love for serving foster youth and love for working with trafficking survivors, as she heads up Restoration Foster Care, Arrow’s innovative program committed to providing trauma-informed treatment foster care for CSEC survivors.
Texas Regional Director, Arrow Child & Family Ministries
Andrea Requenes is a Regional Director for Arrow Child and Family Ministries in Spring, Texas where she has served in various training and leadership roles for over 17 years. Requenes obtained her degree in Sociology from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana and worked for the Louisiana Department of Social Services prior to moving to Texas. Requenes assisted in developing Arrow’s Restoration Foster Care program which aims to help underage survivors of sex trafficking work toward restoring his/her lives in a foster home setting. She not only oversees the Restoration Foster Care program of Arrow Child & Family Ministries but multiple offices across the state of Texas. Requenes currently serves on the board of Texas Foster Family Association.
