Through listening sessions, gatherings and online surveys, Bishop Parkes heard common themes about the need to expand outreach efforts to the poor and vulnerable, youth and young adults and fallen away Catholics.
Through prayer, discernment and the research of relevant information, the Visioning Team appointed by Bishop Parkes developed a Mutually-Shared Vision – Courageously Living the Gospel – that represents the many voices of the faithful who contributed with their input and prayers.
With clarity, purpose and renewed hope, Courageously Living the Gospel is a source of inspiration and direction as we each strive daily to be Disciples of Jesus Christ.
