In the ever-changing landscape of television and film, where children have access to a multitude of channels and devices to keep them entertained, is dubbing over a popular Children’s show in an indigenous language enough to engage a child? Should indigenous language broadcasters be making original programmes to engage children in early years, or are they currently just paying lip service to an audience they don’t know how to interact with?
