The video highlights the experiences of a woman working on a tobacco farm in Bolivia. Imagery of harvesting plants, drying leaves and other routine agricultural activities are juxtaposed with an interview from a woman about her hardship working in the fields. A compelling story of one tobacco farmer’s efforts to address problems associated with leaf cultivation and to preserve her health and her family. The video touches on rights of farm workers and children on farms in tobacco growing developing countries and policies to reduce the harmful practices of cigarette manufacturers that profit from health inequity and abject poverty among tobacco families.
