This is a little move I use a lot in freestyle, but I tend to use it whenever I skate. It’s a habit. One of the 7 habits of highly habitual people, or something like that. Anyway, its a useful move for freestyle, and also useful for changing which end of your board is forward without fumbling around with great spasticity.
This is first in a series I'm aiming at old skaters who want to learn a little freestyle, but don't want to bounce around on the tail of their boards. I'll be concentrating on moves that can be done on a normal board, but I encourage you old turds to buy a freestyle board as well. Anyway, I'll be concentrating on rolling tricks with flow, not technical stationary freestyle of the sort that probably drove you away from it. I love all that stuff, but this ain't gonna be about it.
