A forest of whimsical plants and insects awakens to a new day, each performing their own unique dance as a new seed prepares to join the environmental orchestra.
This film's puppets were made with real leaves that I preserved, as well as soil, sand, seeds, and butterfly wings!! It was a great experiment in working with organic materials, which are challenging and very ephemeral. Sequences were also shot under the microscope to explore the beautiful textures of these objects.
