Tests of the SONY VENICE camera in the city of Cartagena de Indias in Colombia. Tests of color, dynamic range, noise and resolution. The video is shot only with natural light.
Our project was realized in X-OCN ST RGB format 16 linear bits at 24 fps with the nominal ISO of 500 and the curve SLog3-SgamutCine (there are no other curves) in format 4K17: 9 with aspect ratio 2.40: 1. With the Kowa anamorphic lenses (x2) we use the sensor in 4K 4: 3. We also recorded the Proxy in XAVC-I for editing process.
We mainly use the SIGMA Cine Lenses FF spherical lenses, but also LEICA Summilux-c lenses and the already mentioned anamorphic KOWA lenses (really vintage). For the post-production process we use Davinci Studio colorizing in ACES for HDR 2020. The visualization was done in the monitor Sony 4K BVM-X300 using the PQ curve at 1000 nits
Pruebas de la cámara VENICE de SONY en la ciudad de Cartagena de Indias en Colombia. Pruebas de color, rango dinámico, ruido y resolución. El vídeo está rodado solo con luz natural.
Nuestro proyecto se realizó en formato X-OCN ST RGB 16 bits lineales a 24 fps con el ISO nominal de 500 y la curva SLog3-SgamutCine (no hay otra tipo de curvas) en formato 4K17:9 con relación de aspecto 2.40:1. Con las lentes anamórficas Kowa (x2) utilizamos el sensor en 4K 4:3. Grabamos igualmente los Proxy en XAVC-I para el proceso de montaje.
Utilizamos principalmente las lentes esféricas SIGMA Cine Lenses FF, aunque también lentes LEICA Summilux-c y las ya mencionadas lentes KOWA anamórficas (realmente vintage). Para el proceso de posproducción usamos Davinci Estudio colorizando en ACES para HDR 2020. La visualización la realizamos en el monitor Sony 4K BVM-X300 utilizando la curva PQ a 1000 nits
