It feels like a lifetime of heavy lifting to gain the body weight for this new ML sized glider.
The conditions were industrial-strength. A windy, frigid, Spring day in the Canadian alpine. I felt tense. Gradually, I eased into the glider's smooth carves and vario's hypnotic melody.
I drifted into a long wandering day dream in this 12,000 ft sky lounge. Hours past, the Sun fell low, melted into honey. The air lost its anger. Deep breaths. That was fun.
