Like all good fairytales, this story starts at Lazy Moes... Sian + Vince worked at the same restaurant when they were young. For Sian, the attraction was instantaneous - for Vince, it took a little bit to catch on that Sian fancied him "I'd catch her always laughing and looking away, and thought she was laughing at me or had put something in my hair", explains Vince - before soon cottoning on.
Throughout their younger teenage years, they spent most work nights laughing and joking mixed with some light flirtation - hardly any work was getting done in the restaurant, which caused their boss to put them on opposite shifts to prevent them from getting distracted. This only made their love grow fonder, which is what has brought us to today, their wedding story.
Sian + Vince were well prepared for their wedding. Securing their wedding film back in November 2016, it was important to both of them to have their day documented, and their story told. In a heartbeat or two, soon enough their wedding day was here and all the past months of planning was finally put into action.
We had a reasonably early start with Vince and the boys at his parent's house in Brookfield, as the boys were soon suiting up in their Gibson Suits. Sian and the girls had an earlier start to the day, as hair and makeup was well underway as I arrived, by Hellana makeup and Ella's Bridal Hair. Laughter ensued throughout the morning before soon it was time for Sian to get dressed in her Essence Bridal Gown with florals by Karen Micallef.
Heading into the heart of Melbourne CBD, St Michaels Church was the setting for their ceremony, which after a few moments, Sian soon made her grand entrance looked upon by her closest family and friends. With a kiss pronouncing husband + wife, we headed soon for the Dandenongs alongside photographer Danny D'Mello capturing some candid moments of the newly married couple.
As night drew to a close, Tatra Receptions provided an exquisite backdrop for celebrations to continue on, as laughter was shared, music was pumping by Mercury DJ Hire, and memories were made.
Thanks so much Sian + Vince for being absolute legends!
