More and more Israelis and Palestinians—from across the ideological spectrum within each society—have come to question both the viability and the desirability of "the two-state solution." The declining prospects of the long-stalled Oslo process raise the question of alternative formulas for the realization of self-determination for both the Palestinian Arab and Israeli Jewish populations.
Dr. Roth is a Professor of Political Science and Law at Wayne State University, where he teaches courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels in international law, human rights, political theory, and legal studies.
The panel of respondents moderated by Rabbi Jeffrey L. Falick features Prof. Howard Lupovitch of Wayne State University's Cohn-Haddow Center for Judaic Studies, and Ms. Huwaida Arraf, Palestinian-American activist, lawyer, and co-founder of the International Solidarity Movement.
