A huge reason why I love what I do is the people. The people I meet through my adventures of filming weddings, capturing their story, and ultimately - get to hang out with, and party it up alongside on one of the most important days in their lives. A wedding day can often be overwhelming for most - but at the centre of all is the people you surround yourself with. Hayley + Murray were surrounded by amazing people.
Their tribe, from the guests to family, to the bridal party, to their suppliers - were all there for one reason... because of Hayley + Murray. They were their people. Their cheer squad. Their belief in #flemmingforever
The day was greeted with sunshine and crystal clear skies. Hair and makeup were well underway (Megan Harrison Makeup) by my arrival at Hayley's preparations at the stunning Boyanda at Ferny Creek. With gorgeous florals by Flowers by Rhi, Hayley was positively glowing in her Madison James gown.
Heading onsite to arguably one of my favourite places The Log Cabin Ranch, I arrived to find Murray and the boys chilling by the outdoor bar, putting the final touches in their preparations (looking ultra suave in their Briggins suits).
Guests and friends soon arrived onsite, and after checking into their accommodation, made their way to The Stables, where Kate Haley was standing by ready to marry Hayley + Murray in a beautiful ceremony. Such sweet words were exchanged during their personalised vows, and with a kiss - a new husband and wife were announced to a sea of congratulative hugs and kisses.
As guests grazed on food goodness by Hunter and Gather Co, Happy Camper Pizza + Cornutopia Tacos (with refreshments by The Wandering Woodsman), we strolled the grounds of LCR alongside the amazing Sherise Fleming Photography who was so great to work alongside. Hayley + Murray were both in their absolute element in front of the camera -- no prompting or guidance needed to capture the love of these two lovers.
After some perfect golden hour light (wow oh wowza), celebrations kicked on well into the night, as Oh Mama! pumped out the tunes on the d-floor, with all up dancing and grooving away. Kate Haley returned once more for her MC duties, keeping the reception on point, fluid and enjoyable for all.
Thanks so much, Hayley + Murray - words cannot describe how amazing you both are.
