"Vertigo", one of Alfred Hitchcock's masterpieces, inspired- among many other films- "La Jetée", the great short film of french filmmaker Chris Marker. In this video, we take a look back at both films with a side to side comparison so as to appreciate the similarities between them. As Marker says, the vertigo that haunts the character of James Stewart is mainly a vertigo of time itself.
