Two early morning visitors to our backyard by the Palmer Divide.
At 7:30 a very sleek mature black bear came to slacken his thirst.
Three days later, at 8:50 a baby doe, see the spots, came to nibble and drink.
It was very skittish and reacted to any noise.
We wondered where the mother was and some time later we saw her in the scrub oak.
I shot through closed windows to minimize the noise we make.
