The Atlanta Hawks and Phillips Arena staff came together to make a difference by volunteering their time to make a brighter place for the homeless.

They painted, cleaned and prepared dinner at the Atlanta Mission and My Sister's House.

Established in 1938, Atlanta Mission provides emergency shelter, residential discipleship, job attainment, and transitional housing to more than 950 homeless men, women and children daily.

My Sister's House is a 264-bed facility that offers overnight shelter and residential discipleship programs for homeless women and women with children.

The organization is located in Atlanta and does a consistently remarkable job at providing services to the homeless.
