Disembodybutter: Makeup Time-Lapse

Comprised from looks common to the Instagram Makeup Blogger identity, this persona arose directly from tracking recurring themes in suggested makeup content on my Instagram Explore page.

Criteria for simulating the IG MUA identity:

1. Mask-like full coverage foundation.

2. Heavy contouring and highlighting

3. Big false eyelashes

4. Overlined full lip (here I had to simulate lip injections since most beauty bloggers have them)

5. Wigs, or well styled color-treated hair, usually in the unnatural color range

6. Using specific products, usually brands created by Instagram makeup stars like Huda Kattan, whose highlighter palette I purchased specifically for this face.
